BIOGRAPHY
JACK LEE
I am a Chinese Malaysian artist based in Naarm/Melbourne, working across photography, moving image, mixed media, and digital art. My practice explores the interrogation of social norms and the construction of 'in-between' cultures, often reflecting on themes of migration, displacement, and diasporic identity. Through my work, I also examines how those who exist outside dominant racial, gender, and sexual narratives navigate and negotiate majority culture. For me, art becomes a process of disidentification - an act of both resistance and redefinition.
